Are you a plus size woman who wants to wear high heels, but are afraid of your feet hurting?

You can rock a pretty pair of pumps without pain.

The trick: Buy shoes and inserts that help support your sexy curves and voluptuous frame easily. Whether you are a size 14 or a size 22, here's how to find high heels for plus size women that are cute and comfy.

1-Got back pain? High heels are your friend.

Sounds a little crazy, but it's true. If you have lower back pain, flat shoes are not your friend. To give you a little lift, wear shoes that have at least 1 inch or more. A tiny lift will tilt your body forward and relieve any pressure on your lower back.

2-Plus size women can wear high-heeled boots!

There are 3 simple rules to buying a pair of ladies boots: If the zipper won't zip don't force it; go up a shoe size if the boot is squeezing the life out of your calf and certain man-made materials are your friend.

Boots made of stretchy leather and faux velvet will glide across the widest part of your calves easily.

3- Rock the retro with a cute pair of platform sandals.

A platform with a thicker heel will balance a wide foot and a thicker pair of gams beautifully. Pair your ladies sandals with halter dresses and flowy skirts to unleash your inner Marilyn Monroe.

4- Wear a thick heel as a skinny stiletto alternative.

Want to rock a current pair of Christian Louboutin pumps to a party, without pain? Slip into a thick-heeled pump.

A sexy round toe pump will give lift to the leg, complement your thick calves and will keep your tootsies comfortable all night long.

5- Most important high heels for plus size women tips:

When buying shoes, try them on in the afternoon, your feet are at their widest and biggest at this time. Also walk on a hard surface and the carpet in the store to mimic real life walking.

If you are wearing your shoes for more than an hour, slip a cushiony heel pad or shoe cushion inside your shoes. Whether you are wearing sandals or pumps, these gel insoles will keep your feet happy and hurt-free!
